At our June 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM), our Board and members voted to change the name of our organization to Disability Alliance BC. Over the next while, we will be gradually transitioning our website, social media and email addresses to our new name. For over 35 years, to live with dignity, with all disabilities, cross-disability voice in British Columbia.Our mission is to support people, Disability Alliance BC (formerly BC Coalition of People with Disabilities) has been a provincial, independence and as equal and full participants in the community. We hope you like our new name! We're still doing the same work for the disability community; nothing else has changed. We will also have a new logo. All communications will be automatically re-routed. We champion issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities through our direct services, advocacy, community partnerships, research and publications.
