In 1968, a bold young woman named Rose left her home in Europe to start a new life in Canada. After Five quickly became leading source of fashion and flare in the Western marketplace. As her boutiques grew, so did her influence. One by one, she showered the women of Vancouver with glam ¿ from glistening gowns to fabulous handbags. Soon, her friends became customers and her customers became friends. Her vision was to import the breaking trends overseas for her new Canadian friends. Rose traveled to Paris, Rome, New York and Los Angeles on the regular. So, she set out to bring the fashion she worshiped in Europe to the unseasoned streets of Vancity. After arriving in Vancouver, she quickly realized the growing young town was desperately in need of couture. Finally, after twenty years as the fearless leader, it was time for her son Boris to take on the business.
